About

Lynsey Gedye, creativity coachHi, I’m Lynsey. I live in Wellington, New Zealand, with my wife Marica. Marica has an Arts Therapy practice.

I have a Masters in Communication (with distinction) and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic Photography. I’ve been working creatively for years, primarily in photography and writing, and have a background in education. I love printmaking. I’ve just completed a redesign of our landscaping and I’m ready to start creating sculptures for the garden.

I’m a Creativity Coach. I’m passionate about helping people develop their skills, unleash their creativity, and achieve their goals. I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of clients, private individuals and businesses, from service businesses through to trades people. One thing I’ve learned is that everyone is has a unique story to tell. Every client comes to me with their own set of goals and challenges. That’s what makes creativity coaching so rewarding – I get to help each person unlock their full potential, one step at a time.

I’m not the kind of coach who knows everything – in fact, I believe there’s value in being a “newbie” in some ways. My experience has taught me that every client is different, and every journey is unique. By approaching each coaching session with an open mind, I’m able to tailor my approach to the individual needs and goals of my clients.

My coaching philosophy is all about empowering my clients to live life well – to be their best selves. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned manager looking to take your skills to the next level, I’m here to help you achieve your goals. Together, we’ll explore your unique style, develop your skills, and unleash your creativity.

I believe that great creative works are not created by people working in isolation. It’s better to work with a trusted person who can critique and give contractive feedback. If you don’t do that you risk drinking your own bathwater and no-one wants that. Working with a coach means you don’t have to work in lonely isolation. It really is better when we work together.

I can’t wait to work with you!
